Alphine provides great grouping capabilities and decent utility for the team. The survivability she provides will feel lacking at times and you will have to use additional support units to help with that.
Alphine becomes immune to status effects and summons a Shadow Fox with stats equal to 160% of her stats in the center of enemy territory for 8 sec. The Shadow Fox commands all enemies to attack it and deals DMG equal to 400% of ATK to enemies in range every second. Shadow Fox is immune to Status Effects and Debuffs, and when the summon ends, deals DMG equal to 1,200% of ATK to nearby enemies and seals from for 3 sec. Special Move cannot be reused while Shadow Fox is on the battlefield.
Alphine connects the shadows between the enemy with the highest HP and the ally with the lowest HP for 7 sec. The enemy whose shadow is connected takes DMG equal to 8% of their max HP every second (deals DMG equal to 200% of ATK for bosses).
The ally whose shadow is connected recovers 8% of their MAX HP every second and their HP does not drop below 1.
If the enemy who was connected dies before the duration ends, Alphine recovers 50% of the skill’s remaining cooldown.
With Observer, Alphine attacks 3 random enemies for 5 sec, dealing 400% of her ATK as DMG every second and reducing their ACC and EVA by 40% each.
For each summoned Observer that reduces by 1 due to insufficient enemies, the duration of summoned Observers increases by 5 sec.
At the start of the battle, Alphine summons Observers that Conceal her and the ally with the highest ATK (excluding Summoned Beings) for 3 sec. After that, every 8 sec, she summons an observer that Conceals her and the ally with the lowest HP (excluding Summoned Beings) for 2 sec and recovers the target's HP by 400% of ATK.
Additionally, each time a Shadow Fox is summoned, increases her DEF by 50% and HP by 50% (Max: 4 stacks).
Physical Resistance
Shadow Connection is enhanced and allies steal Energy by 100 of the enemy connected by shadows every second.
Sight Block is enhanced, reducing enemy DEF by 60% while the Observer reveals their position.
Shadow Fox is enhanced, reducing the ATK of nearby enemies around the Shadow Fox by 60%.
Alphine recovers her Energy by 300 at the start of the battle.
Scout and Anima is enhanced, recovering the target’s Energy by 200 each time an Observer is summoned. Buffs gained from summoning Shadow Fox cannot be removed by buff removal skills.
Shadow Fox is enhanced, Conceals all allies for 3 sec when Shadow Fox is summoned. Additionally, while Shadow Fox is summoned, reduces nearby enemies' Physical and Magic Resistance by 40% each and recovers all allies' HP by 200% of ATK every second.
Alphine’s Effect Hit increases by 95 and her summoned being’s DMG Taken decreases by 50% in Arenas.
(This buff cannot be removed with buff removal skills.)

Bari is best for overall survivability, with El coming close and potentially outperforming Bari in some scenarios.
Rafflesia, Runda or Doris are acceptable options as well, but generally not as effective as the other two.
