Robadon provides good survivability to close-range teammates that stay near him.
He is also capable of protecting, a limited number of times, his green element allies.
He forces you to run at least 1 or 2 Green element units, other than him, but this restriction doesn't feel too bad as he synergizes very well with some of them.
His damage is not reliable, but if enemy teams have a lot of multi-hit attacks he could consistently deal Max HP% damage.
Robadon deploys a Guardian Branch Area around him for 8 sec.
DMG Taken by allies within the area is fixed to 1.
When the area ends, he unleashes a powerful Primal Punch forward, deals 1600% of ATK as DMG to enemies in range and Knocks them Down for 5 sec.
Additionally, each time an ally takes DMG within the zone, the ATK coefficient of Primal Punch increases by 80%. (Max: 20 stacks)
Robadon slams down a massive tree tentacle and deals 500% of ATK as DMG 3 times to enemies in range and Knocks them Down for 3 sec.
Additionally, he decreases the Swiftness of hit enemies by 40 for 10 sec.
Robadon wraps his body with tree vines that last for 12 sec and ignores DMG below 30% of Max HP.
When DMG is ignored, he decreases the energy of the attacking enemy by 100.
Robadon gains Immunity to Status Effects at the start of the battle, then gains Essence of Flora equal to the number of Green Element allies excluding himself. (Can own up to 4)
He gains an additional 1 Essence of Flora whenever a Green Element ally dies.
When a Green Element ally, excluding Robadon, takes DMG that would reduce their HP below 4%, he consumes 1 Essence to make them invincible for 3 sec and Recovers HP equal to 600% of his ATK.
If Robadon is the only Green Element ally on the battlefield, all Essence of Flora is immediately consumed and DMG Taken decreases by 50% until the end of the battle.
Physical Resistance
[Primal Punch] is enhanced to recover the HP of allies within the Guardian Branch Area by 400% of ATK every second.
[Gran Abuelo - Initiation] is enhanced to decrease the Energy of hit enemies by 200.
[Gran Abuelo - Return] is enhanced to decrease the Energy of the enemy by an additional 100.
[Gran Abuelo - Return] is enhanced to decrease the max cooldown by 5 sec.
For each time an ally takes DMG within Robadon’s Guardian Branch Area, Robadon’s ATK coefficient increases by an additional 80%.
Additionally, upon achieving max stacks for the first time, he deals DMG equal to 50% of the target’s Max HP (600% of ATK as DMG if the target is a boss).
If there is a Green Element ally other than Robadon, his HP cannot drop below 1.
Robadon’s HP increases by 100% and DEF by 120% in Arenas.
(Cannot be removed with buff removal skills.)

Doris and Runda are both great on Robadon, as his Revolution 5 will prevent him from dying, and when inside his Special Move the barriers will last for a long time. You can pick the one you need the most in the current team.
I set Doris as the BiS mainly because it is less used compared to Runda, so chances are you already have a Runda in the team.
Bari is a good option when Robadon is 0 dupes, but becomes useless when at R5.

You could run Effect Resistance Slot 4 and Physical Pierce Slot 5, it doesn't really matter, and you can leave all pieces at +0 anyway.
He will need help with survivability, and Bari helps him a bit at this investment level.
