Aqua Slash always results in a Critical Hit.
Asensio becomes Invincible for 2s when using Molino de Viento and the Physical Pierce increases by 40% for 10 sec.
Asesnsio becomes invincible while using Asensio Flying Fish Spear Skill.
Each time a flying fish lands an attack on the enemy, Asensio’s ATK increases by 4% until the end of the battle. (Max: 100 stacks)
Asensio’s ATK increases by 50% and Physical Pierce by 30% in Arenas.

Bari is really good on Asensio, because it basically guarantees that he is going to cast the First Special Move. After that, Asensio can easily chain his own immortality and won't have problems staying alive.
Alocasia is also good to boost his damage and survivability a little bit, but unless it receives a decent buff, I wouldn't go for this set over Bari.

Asensio's Special Move is dangerous, the projectiles he throws have strange trajectories and will also hit untargetable units.
Those projectiles also reduce Physical Resistance, which means even at lower deficits and resistance build they might still one-shot you.
You have to delay his Special Move and kill him before he does.
Another option is to use units that can block Projectiles.
If you are running resistance builds, you might want some extra Effect Resistance for a better chance to dodge the Physical Resistance decrease.
He gives the whole team immortality, and will help you survive through Asensio's Special Move.
She can block Asensio's Energy Recovery, preventing him from using the Special Move.
Often not enough on her own though.
