Kallavan is a selfish tank, bringing little to the team except for his damage and grouping/crowd control.
At lower deficits, he is unkillable, but the higher you push, the more help he needs.

Special Move - Atomic Explosion
Kallavan becomes immune to Status Effects and gathers strength in his fist, then unleashes a powerful punch that deals 400% of his ATK as DMG 4 times in a circular area. Each hit Jolts enemies hit.
When this attack is unleashed, the final hit is guaranteed to hit and Stuns enemies' hit for 3s.
Also, the final hit's Physical Pierce is increased by 40%.
Active Skill - Manifested Resolve
Kallavan creates an explosion of Shinsu in each arm, dealing 400% of his ATK as DMG 2 times. Afterwards, he increases his Physical Resistance and Magic Resistance by 40% for 10s.
After that, he also becomes immune to Status Effects and has his Basic Attack ATK coefficient increased to 300% for 10s.
Active Skill - Rush Bomber
Kallavan increases his DEF by 80% for 10s, then fires 5 Bombers in front of him in quick succession. Each Bomber deals 320% of his ATK as DMG and also Jolts and Knocks Back enemies.
Additionally, he recovers HP equal to 50% of the damage dealt.
Passive - Mastery of Nothingness
After using a Skill or Special Move, Kallavan unleashes a Back Bomber explosion on the furthest enemy, dealing 400% of his ATK as DMG and Knocking Back the target for 2s.
Each time a Back Bomber activates, Kallavan gains 1 Essence of Nothingness.
Each Essence of Nothingness lasts 20s, increases Kallavan's ATK by 80% and DEF by 40%, and sets damage from incoming attacks to 0 if they would deal less than 15% of Kallavan's Max HP.
If Kallavan receives damage exceeding 15% of his Max HP, then an Essence of Nothingness absorbs the damage instead and disappears.

When an Essence of Nothingness disappears, it reduces Kallavan's Active Skill Cooldowns by 2s.

Level 2 Effect
The ATK coefficient of Rush Bomber increases by 50%.
Level 3 Effect
Kallavan's ATK and DEF are increased by 10% per Essence of Nothingness created by Mastery of Nothingness.
Level 4 Effect
Kallavan's ATK and DEF are additionally increased by 10% per Essence of Nothingness created by Mastery of Nothingness.
Revolution 4: Atomic Explosion
Increases Special Move Pierce by 15% for each Essence of Nothingness possessed.
Revolution 5: Mastery of Nothingness
Decreases each of Kallavan's Active Skill Cooldowns by 1s at the start of the battle.
Revolution 6 [PvP ONLY]
Increases ATK by 50% and HP by 100% in Arenas.
(This buff cannot be removed with buff removal skills.)

Notes
Runda is Kallavan best set if your deficit is not higher than 400/450, as it synergizes with his passive and provides Energy to some teammates.
Bari is the best pick for higher deficits, because his passive won't be enough to keep him alive.
Alocasia and Rafflesia are acceptable alternatives.
