Traumerei has insane value even at no dupes, thanks to his kit being the perfect counter for units that spam Barriers and ATK buffs.
At high investment, his survivability and overall utility is further improved, opening up scenarios where he can effectively be used as the solo carry of the team, even though most of the times it's better to just add a Sub-DPS.
Traumerei becomes immune to status effects and unleashes All Creatures toward the end of the battlefield to deal 200% of his ATK as DMG 12 times, each hit jolting the enemy and pushing them back.
Traumerei becomes Invincible for 2s and increases the ATK of all allies including summoned beings by 80% for 8s.
He then orders Kraken and Cobalt to attack once each.
Traumerei removes all enemies’ Concealed state.
He then decreases the Swiftness of nearby enemies by 100, Physical Resistance by 20%, and Magic Resistance by 20% for 10s.
At the start of the battle, Traumerei summons Kraken and Cobalt with 120% of his stats at both ends of the battlefield.
Both Kraken and Cobalt decrease all enemies’ Energy by 30 every 3s and each take 30% of Traumerei’s damage taken in his place.
- Kraken’s ATK increases by 40% for 10s whenever any ally, including summoned beings, dies (Max: 3 stacks), and then fires a Shinsu Cannon to deal 400% of its ATK as DMG to all enemies.
- Cobalt immediately tries to remove any ATK Increase buff or barrier an enemy receives, then detonates a shockwave on all enemies to deal 20% of their Max HP (400% of ATK if the target is a boss) as DMG.
Traumerei, Kraken, and Cobalt are immune to all status effects except Silence and do not move.
Lifesteal
Traumerei silences enemies hit by Unleash: All Creatures for 3s.
Kraken and Cobalt’s energy drain increases by 10 every second.
The Invincibility duration of Ruler of All Things increases by 2s.
Traumerei’s ATK increases by 6% and DEF by 6% when hit by any status effect attack other than Silence. (Max: 5 stacks)
Traumerei additionally increases Physical Resistance of allies in range by 30% and their Magic Resistance by 30% when using Gaze.
Traumerei increases the DEF of all allies by 80% for 8s when using Ruler of All Things.
Traumerei increases the Magic Pierce of all allies by 30% for 8s when using Unleash: All Creatures.
Traumerei cannot be targeted if Kraken or Cobalt are present on the battlefield.
Summoned beasts’ ATK increases by 50% and Traumerei’s HP increases by 100% in Arenas.
(This buff cannot be removed with buff removal skills.)
For detailed information on which investment is needed, please refer to the "Investment Guide" section.
Runda works well on Traumerei as he is always untargettable, and this will allow him to use his Special Move in quick succession throughout the whole fight.
El and Bari are good at helping Traumerei survive random AoE attacks.

If you are playing at high deficits, this won't matter that much, but there is still no other stat to build.
Green 1 is a good improvement, remember to level up the passive skill if you go for that.

With this amount of investment, he could deal some damage with his Special Move, so looking for Magic Pierce in the substats won't be totally useless, but this is a very minor portion of his damage and will only work at lower deficits.
I don't recommend investing in the offensive Substats, like ATK and Special Move Pierce, and I think it would be better to skip them.
I didn't add them, but Critical Hit Resistance, Critical DMG Reduction and EVA could help with survivability. (NOT Recommended, too expensive for most players)
HP and DEF are there just to maximize the Deficit at which resistances still work, but they are not necessary at first.
