Floating Ship Guide
Guide on how the Floating Ship system works.
What is the Floating Ship System?
You can assign a Floating Ship to a team to enhance their stats and give them additional effects. Each ship will apply buffs to specific subsets of units (Damage Type, Element, etc.) All Ships buff the basic stats (ATK, HP, DEF), but some provide Additional Effects. Ships come in 4 different rarities:
Note: In multi-team battles, you cannot assign the same Ship to two different teams.
How to obtain Floating Ships?
To obtain Floating Ships you will have to build them in the Foundry using Schematics. Schematics have different rarities, rates and time requirements:
Schematics of different rarities.
Rates of a Legendary Schematic.
Limit Break and Level Up a Floating Ship
When you obtain additional copies of a Floating Ship you already own, you will instead receive an "item" that will allow you to Limit Break that specific ship.
Limit Breaking a Ship, like shown in the imagine on the right, will increase the Buff that it provides, increasing its level from +0 to +4.
Once you achieve Max Limit Break on a Ship, getting additional copies will then give you a EXP item of different rarities, based on the rarity of the ship you obtained.
These EXP items can be used, by clicking on the "Level Up" button, to increase the Level of ANY Floating Ship. This Level Up will ONLY provide a boost to the ATK, HP and DEF buffs.
This buff is fairly minor and I would NOT worry too much about it.
Is this System Good?
Floating Ships, at the moment, are mostly used for PvP and Bossing, where additional Stats and Archive are more important.
For Adventure, they can be useful to:
Buff ATK Scaling DPS Units
Increase the ATK of Specific Units so they can be targeted by Highest ATK effects
Decrease the Swiftness of certain Enemies [Only applies to some SSR+ Ships]
In general, the Floating Ship system is NOT a crucial component in your progression through the game, and it is NOT a system you should be investing your resources early on, just used the Schematics you normally obtain by playing.
I will update this in the future if they make this system more impactful and accessible.
I would also recommend to SAVE Epic and Legendary Schematics that you get for a later date, when we will have at least a Swiftness Ship for every Element.
